Technical notes
A social QR code encodes a social media profile's URL; when a customer scans it, they go straight to your Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn or YouTube profile. It removes the step of searching for a username and makes gaining followers easier.
Entering the profile link fully and correctly matters; on most platforms the profile URL is platform.com/username. The QR only carries this link, it doesn't trigger a 'follow'; the user views the profile and decides to follow on their own.
You can produce a separate QR per platform, or collect multiple accounts on one 'link-in-bio' page and encode that page's URL; that gives access to all your social accounts from a single QR. For app-opening/deep-link scenarios, see the app link QR code generator.
This tool makes a static QR and relies on no redirect server. If your username changes, the link changes too, so a new QR is needed. For general content types, use the QR code generator.
